Bail bond agency seeks an Accounts Receivable/Collections Manager. The AR/Collections Manager works independently to ensure collection of current and late fees from existing clients. Clients are located across the state and all interactions with clients are by phone, text, and email only (no in-person).
Duties:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with clients
- Consistently collect fees as agreed to by the client over phone and online
- Develop and implement procedures for consistent collections and to prevent accounts from becoming delinquent
- Bring delinquent accounts current
This position is approximately a 50/50 split between a typical office AR and a typical collections job.
Desired Qualifications:
- High level of professional communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to independently develop and implement collections procedures, and adjust methods as business conditions change
- Tenacity in collections efforts - consistency, diligence, and attention
- Ability to work with a strong "collections personality" when necessary
- Prior success in a collections position strongly preferred
- Office skills
This job can performed partially remotely and at our either of our offices in Fredericksburg and Kerrville, as the individual prefers. Hours are flexible, but it is expected a minimum 25-35 hours per week will be required for success. Hourly/salary will be offered plus bonuses for collections performance.
The AR/Collections Manager will also have the opportunity to work as a bail agent for additional compensation. Interest in this is a plus, but not required.
