Title: IT Manager

Location: Kentucky Consular Center - Williamsburg KY

Clearance: Secret

• Personnel management for the OneZero staff at KCC
• Operate Contingency Site for Consular Lookout and Support System (CLASS)
• Managing and operating the KCC's computer systems including system and database maintenance of centralized Consular systems.
• Managing and operating the KCC LAN, LAN-based servers, MS EXCHANGE server, and links to non-DOS databases.
• Maintaining automated equipment (hardware and software) and supplies inventory control system.
• Operating the State Messaging and Archive Retrieval Toolset (SMART).
• Systems Administration and support of a large Microsoft multi-server network environment including desktop and Active Directory support.
• Provide Tier 3 applications support by providing services to ensure effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of applications software and related infrastructure.
• Provide ongoing desktop support for production users.
• Liaise with Government and contract staff regarding local IT inquiries and general software/hardware support.
• Work closely with an onsite Operations Manager to communicate any IT support needs, persistent issues, or change requests to the Government that are needed to optimize performanceResponsibilities
• Tier 3 Support providing system admin support to the Center including escalated problems with deployed Department of State Applications
• Provide administration, deployment, and maintenance of production workstations, Systems Administrator servers, and peripherals.
• Review and maintain site compliance with Department of State Information Assurance tools.
• Develop and maintain backup schedules.
• Creation and compliance of user accounts and access through Active Directory and other DOS systems
• Investigate and produce purchase recommendations based on customer or production user needs. Maintain inventory of consumables and hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: BS/BA or equivalent (4 years additional experience may be substituted for degree)
• Licenses/Certificates: Microsoft Certification preferred.
• Experience: 8 years IT experience, including 3 years of specialized IT management experience
