Gunter Construction Company is Hiring a Concrete Foreman Near Kansas, KS

Job description

- Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in Utility, Dirt work, Concrete Work, Civil work/Street Rehab projects as a Field Superintendent.

-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints accurately

-Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.

-Possess a high level of attention to detail and quality

-Thorough knowledge of Construction industry

-Ability to schedule, supervise, and direct Subcontractors & field laborers.

-Ability to multi-task without impacting attention to detail or quality of the final product.

-Good Leadership skills, Communication (oral and written), and Inter-personal skills.

-Self-starter and ability to make decisions independently.

-Ability to Establish and set priorities.

-Forward thinker

-Ability to work well under pressure

-Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies and procedures

-Must be able to take directions and complete tasks

-Determine all types of construction joints

-Order concrete

-Use and care of a total station

Other

-Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel, Microsoft Project skills a plus.

-Familiarity with KCMO, MoDOT and KDOT paperwork a plus.

-Spanish & English communication skills a plus.

Reliable transportation required. Background and drug test required.
