Gunter Construction Company is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Kansas, KS

Gunter Construction is looking for a skilled and experienced Director of Operations with an extensive background in estimating, project management, and construction operations management. Reporting directly to ownership, this self-starter construction professional has a strong technical expertise in civil projects. With a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget, the Director of Operations consistently delivers high-quality work while maintaining a safe work environment. Their strengths lie in meeting deadlines, adhering to budgetary constraints, and ensuring consistent quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Managed and developed multiple departments, including estimating and project management.

Oversee all aspects of construction operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination.

Developed and implemented strategies to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.

Executed successful projects, consistently meeting deadlines and budgetary constraints.

Implemented robust quality control measures to ensure consistently high standards.

Maintained a safe work environment through regular safety training and adherence to regulations.

Collaborated with project managers to ensure project estimates were aligned with project requirements.

Maintained a close working relationship with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.

Managed all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.

10 years proven civil construction project management experience

5 years leadership experience

BS/BA in Business Administration or related field

OSHA 30 Card

Knowledge of DOT regulations and paperwork

Job Type: Full-time
