Rocking V Cafe is gearing up for the 2024 season and we are looking for self-motivated and energetic candidates.

Our season kicks off February 16th and extends through November. The anticipated start date is March (or earlier). This is a part or full-time seasonal position, with the possibility of extending.

Rocking V Cafe is a small restaurant and popular dining destination in Kanab, UT. We are fast-paced and our goal is to provide excellent food and service to our guests ranging from locals of southern Utah to national and international tourists in a art-filled mercantile building from 1892.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain food quality and consistency in a face-paced environment.
• Cook and assemble menu items according to established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Maintain excellent time management and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
