SUMMARY:

Bud & Mary’s Production Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and accurate designs for marketing materials, packaging designs, and digital assets. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of brand aesthetics, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a production design role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Proven experience working with cannabis brands or products is highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design and develop marketing assets for sales teams
• Prepare and finalize production-ready files for printing, ensuring all specifications are met.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to create and update packaging designs, ensuring they meet brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop digital assets for web, social media, and email campaigns.
• Maintain and organize a library of design assets, templates, and brand guidelines.
• Assist in the creation of in-store displays, event materials, and other promotional items.
• Conduct quality checks on final designs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and software updates.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with print production processes and requirements.
• Understanding of cannabis industry regulations and packaging requirements is a plus.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED:

· Travel may be required for promotional events, content gathering and other instances that may necessitate being on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
