Overview:
We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
Duties:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly
- Implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts
- Utilize data analysis for demand planning and production scheduling
- Collaborate with suppliers for sourcing, category management, and supplier management
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies
- Manage warehouse inventory and ensure proper storage practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis
- Knowledge of demand planning and production planning processes
- Familiarity with price negotiation and cost analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
