Job Summary
Manage office for Kihei based Landscaping Company. Duties and responsibilities include
managing daily office operations, accounts payable & accounts receivable, payroll input, and
some human resources tasks, help with estimating landscaping projects, Website upkeep
(WordPress), scheduling appointments, & other office administration tasks including answering
phone calls, emails, etc.
Our ideal candidate will have experience managing an office for a construction trade company,
QuickBooks accounting, professional correspondence, some human resources, WordPress, &
project estimating experience. Willing to train the right person!
Essential Duties
Bookkeeping - Accounts payable / Accounts receivable using QuickBooks. Monitor businesses
to ensure efficiency of providing needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure
productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program
improvement. Review organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize
investments, and increase efficiency.
Payroll entry & some Human Resources tasks
Assist with estimating Landscaping Projects & writing contracts.
Maintain & update WordPress Website and social media accounts.
Professional correspondence via emails, answering phone calls, filing, office organization.
Secondary Duties
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those
personnel processes.
Scheduling appointments for owners, vehicle maintenance appointments, etc.

Education
This position requires a high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate) and 1
year of previous experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
