Riverview Senior Living located in Juneau, Alaska is looking for an amazing Activity Director to join our team. Stable management and a great team in this community. If you love working with seniors this is the job for you!
SCHEDULE: Tuesday- Saturday
What will I be doing?
As the Activity Director, you will manage, design and implement a very energetic, lively, visible, and on-going program of activities designed to meet the individual needs of our memory care residents. You are also responsible for oversight of the community's volunteer program.
Our Activity Director will have high energy, enthusiasm and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. Activities are very important for our memory care residents we care so much about.
What are the requirements?
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in planning and conducting small and large group activities
- Creativity and knowledgeable in evaluating residents' needs and interests, engaging employees in activity participation and recruitment and training of volunteers
- Event planning experience and First Aid training required
- Present a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Must meet all state health requirements including T.B. and must be able to pass states perspective background clearance
- Must obtain any state required training/certification
- Have fun at work!!!!
