Turn Key Utility is seeking a skilled Overhead Lineman to join our team. As an Overhead Lineman, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining power lines to ensure efficient and reliable power distribution. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Power Line Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of overhead power lines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Installation: Install new power lines, transformers, and related equipment as per project requirements.
• Repairs: Respond to power outages and emergencies to repair damaged lines and restore power swiftly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks, cranes, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for reporting purposes.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and contractors to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and address their inquiries or concerns regarding power supply and repairs.
• Training: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and safety standards through continuous learning and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Overhead Lineman or similar role in the electrical utility industry.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Lineman training program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Certifications: Possess a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) and relevant certifications such as OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, etc.
• Skills: Proficient in operating power line equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, and following safety protocols.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills and the ability to solve technical problems efficiently.
• Availability: Flexible schedule to respond to emergencies and work overtime as needed.
