BASES Autism Services is currently seeking passionate and dedicated behavior technicians to join our team. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting children and their families by providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy within a collaborative, holistic framework that centers each family’s values and each child’s voice. Under the supervision and direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll work with a child one-on-one in the clinic, home, and/or school environments, implementing instructional programs that are tailored to each child’s learning style and individual needs.

We offer robust training from the beginning, with opportunities to earn your RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification as well as fieldwork supervision for individuals pursuing their BCaBA/BCBA. Job Title: Behavior Technician(BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Position Type: Part-time, hourly non-exempt
Hours: minimum 10 hours per week
Schedule: Exact schedule based on client availability; applicants must consistently be available at least 3 days per week including one weekend day, for at least 4 consecutive hours per day.
Location: varies (clinic and client homes)

Assume, maintain, and transition to/from a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
manual dexterity to perform job tasks on computer or mobile devices and as stipulated in child’s treatment plan
physically intervene in a timely/responsive manner to assist or protect a child (for example, run after a child, block a child from harming self or others, soften a child’s fall, assist a child with toileting by lifting the child onto the toilet, providing hand over hand assistance for washing hands) as directed by child’s treatment plan and/or agency policies and procedures
Ability to hear, comprehend, and communicate in spoken English at typical conversational volumes
Tolerate moderate to high stress/stimulation levels
