Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks.
- Load and unload material by hand, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods.
- Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or other navigation tools.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to provide updates on delivery status or any issues that arise during transportation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and customer service.
Experience
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) frequently on a daily basis.
-A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for this position. Chauffeurs license and DOT certification are required along with passing a pre-employment drug test.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. The schedule may vary based on business needs.
