At Compass Health Network, we are dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to the communities we serve. We are currently offering a $4000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate to join our Assertive Community Treatment team as a Substance Use Specialist.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Substance Use Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive substance use assessments, tracking consumer readiness for change, and providing specialized services for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental illness in our ACT TAY Program. Some key responsibilities include:
  • Utilizing outreach and motivational interviewing techniques
  • Providing individual co-occurring counseling and facilitating educational and process groups
  • Developing individualized wellness plans and participating in wellness plan reviews
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation and recording within the case record
  • Participating in ongoing clinical supervision and team meetings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Current substance abuse counselor certification or licensure, or actively pursuing
