Licensed Practical Nurse - Jamestown CampusFull Time & Part Time SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to perform general nursing care to the clients at the Anne Carlsen Center. The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the nursing care of the client, guided by the nursing care plan, IHP/IEP, behavior plan, facility policies and procedures, and professional standards of practice.The position, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability for working with educational, therapeutic, home life service staff in the implementation of the total care plan/IHP/IEP for clients enrolled in ACC programs. This position uses independent judgment regarding priority of work. The duties of the incumbent are clearly defined in established policies, procedures, ND Board of Nursing Standards of Practice, assignments, and schedules. The incumbent provides care within the boundaries of physician orders.
