Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical, PICU, geriatrics, hospital medicine, or related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
Experience:
- Prior experience in medical-surgical, PICU, geriatrics, hospital medicine, or related areas is preferred
- Knowledge of care techniques and infection control procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
