- Responsible for organizing, identifying, marking, and tracking company owned tools.
- Inventories and places new tools in service.
- Identifies tools in need of replacement.
- Issues tools and equipment to personnel and maintains records of tool issuance and return.
- Assures that company tools are controlled and accounted for.
- Evaluates tool condition for wear and damage, assuring no damaged items are sent or received
- Ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
- Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the nuclear/construction industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in tool maintenance, service, and repair.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
