Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics and education, with the ability to engage and inspire students in the subject.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Teach various mathematical concepts including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Discrete Math
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Incorporate technology and real-world applications into lessons to enhance learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Previous experience in teaching mathematics at the high school or college level
- Proficiency in a wide range of mathematical topics including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Discrete Math
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively educate and engage students
- Demonstrated ability in behavior management and student motivation techniques
- Experience in higher education teaching and research is a plus
- Ability to calculate, proofread, and convey complex mathematical concepts clearly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34,708.88 - $41,799.95 per year
