Maintenance Technician

Experience: 1-3 years

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Required to inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Job Responsibilities

· Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment

· Perform preventative maintenance/ predictive maintenance

· Handle basic repairs and maintenance

· Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary

· Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them

· Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

Job Requirements

· Able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods

· Able to work in warm temperatures

· Complete all required documentation

· Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required

· Follow all company policies

· Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines

· Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

· Can continuously lift up to 50 pounds

· Able to use hand/ power tools

· Qualified to perform basic facility maintenance

· Forklift license
