State of Missouri is Hiring an Assistant Program Manager Near Jefferson City, MO

Job Location: This position will be located at 4720 Scruggs Station Road in Jefferson City, Missouri

The Assistant Program Manager at State Printing Center & Central Mail Services provides document solutions for Missouri state agencies and elected officials. As the Assistant Program Manager you will help lead a dynamic team that is continuously improving how print, mail, and other document solutions are delivered to our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide consultation to state agencies related to document solutions.
  • Take necessary actions to prioritize the customer experience.
  • Lead and coordinate work for printing operations.
  • Formulate recommendations to improve operations.
  • Use project management skills to oversee and lead program initiatives.
  • Compile monthly data reports for the program dashboard.
  • Support and provide backup to the Program Manager.
  • Supervise, mentor, train, coach and evaluate team member performance.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree or four years of relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience. (Substitutions may be allowed).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of varied document solutions; including print, mail, and/or scanning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform and direct work under pressure, make decisions, prioritize work and consult with agencies and print production coordinator to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to foster a healthy work environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships using tact, patience and courtesy with all team members, customers and leadership.
