Job description

This position utilizes basic computer, electronic communication, and map reading skills, and also monitors and responds to emergency alarms in client facilities and performs general clerical tasks and recordkeeping for the client. This position works in a restricted area with limited access. This position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand or operate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; perform repetitive movements of hands or wrists, speak and listen to a variety of individuals by telephone and radio with occasional distractions, distortions, and background noise.

We are looking to hire someone who can work 2pm-10pm on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as pick up shifts, and be able to work holidays.

Duties
- Monitor surveillance cameras, surveillance systems, data systems and alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of the client.
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, assess situations, and take appropriate action
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate records of all activities and actions
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, 2pm - 10pm, holidays, and be able to fill in hours. *There will be one weekend off every few months due to client need.
• Must have excellent customer service & communication skills and the ability to speak & write in fluent English.
• Must have reliable transportation, reliable cell phone, and a valid driver’s license.
• Must have daily access to e-mail/internet
• Must pass a background check with no felony convictions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
