Description
Job Summary: Performs all receptionist, general clerk and database management duties as assigned.
WORK PERFORMED:
1) Acts as receptionist to callers and visitors to the One Stop center.
2) Provides general support services to One Stop center staff and partner agency staff.
3) Assists One Stop center customers with computer use, document composition, job search activities, etc.
4) Processes and distributes all paperwork on each new customer.
5) Sets up and maintains permanent files on new and existing customers.
6) Maintains and organizes an adequate supply of all system materials.
7) Inputs database information and generates necessary reports.
8) Distributes forms, reports, and letters as instructed by the Program Manager.
9) Operates office machines/equipment and monitors their functionality.
10) Arranges scheduling of customer appointments and groups.
11) Maintains a monthly calendar of One Stop and partner agency activities.
12) All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
(a) EQUIVALENT EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED
(b) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
(c) KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Computer Proficiency; Microsoft Office Suite, Familiarity with database entry. Sound telephone techniques. Ability to proofread and correct grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. Knowledge of office procedures. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid NYS Driver’s License and personal automobile for company business use.
