Job Title: Project Manager - Industrial Machinery
Location: Itasca, IL (Hybrid schedule offered after first few months)
Target Starting Salary: $80,000-$100,000/year
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team, specializing in the sales of niche industrial machinery. As a key player in our organization, the Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from client engagement and material ordering to manufacturing, billing, and installation. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of projects, client satisfaction, and contributing to the continued growth of our company.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Satisfaction:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing inquiries, changes, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Order Coordination in a Growing Environment:
  • Manage projects efficiently in a dynamic, rapidly growing company environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project progression and adapt to evolving business needs.
Material Sourcing for Niche Industrial Machinery:
  • Engage with suppliers to source specialized materials required for industrial machinery projects.
Manufacturing Oversight for Niche Machinery:
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to align production with project timelines.
  • Proactively address any changes or challenges in the manufacturing process.
Budget Management and Cost Efficiency:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
Installation Coordination for Specialized Machinery:
  • Coordinate installation activities for specialized machinery, working closely with on-site teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure installations are completed efficiently, meeting project specifications and client expectations.
Documentation, Reporting, and Scalability:
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, adapting processes for scalability as the company grows.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status and milestones.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager and Sales Coordination
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within an OEM manufacturing company
