Job Description:
The cage cashier accurately handles all monetary transactions including but not limited to cash, lottery, and vouchers etc. Responsibilities also include following policies and producers and provide a friendly and courteous guest service experience.
Core Responsibilities:
· Ensure all New York State Gaming Commission regulations, Internal Controls and procedures are being followed.
· Validation and payment of guest vouchers.
· Process tax paperwork for jackpots.
· Make change for guests.
· Maintain a safe work and guest environment.
· Treats each person, guest, or associate as an individual and in a professional manner.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Good communication skills.
· Able to stand for the duration of shift.
· Must role model company guest service program
Qualifications/Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming Commission license
· Must have previous experience working with and managing large amounts of money.
· Weekends, Holidays, and swing shifts will be required.
Other:
· Intermediate computer skills, including e-mail, word, excel spreadsheets, data input and record keeping.
· Basic Math skills, addition, and subtraction.
· Able to lift 30 pounds frequently.
