A company that strives for work / life balance. What are the required qualifications of a Program Specialist : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a health and human services or other related field.

3 years work experience working directly within the Autism Waiver Program . A valid driver's license with proof of car insurance and a good driving record.

Your own reliable vehicle in which the client would be able to ride. On-Call responsibilities. What are the core responsibilities of a Program Specialist?

Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of services for individuals with Autism through the coordination of services for the consumers.

Provide direct services, as needed, to ensure coverage of consumers and meet all required expectations within the service role as defined in the job description.

Complete necessary documentation for each service provided, collect and evaluate any applicable data relating to service and progress on objectives, and will continue to assess and further work with the team to develop positive strategies of support.

Cover on-call and after-hours phone responsibilities with a team approach, to ensure that consumers' needs are met around the clock.

Complete session planning materials. Attend staff trainings and agency meetings voluntarily. Complete assessments and reporting by the required deadlines and submit those to the appropriate supports coordinator.

Maintain incident management and compile data for quality improvement as required by ODP. Review authorization and ensure appropriate utilization for authorized service lines.

Support and assist by conducting Quality Improvement audits as indicated for AAW program. Maintain current knowledge for relevant licensing, credentialing, and / or accreditation standards and ensure program quality and compliance with all state, county, MCO, and CARF requirements.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Identify and establish contact with local organizations that provide services to individuals within the community. Participate in community networking and marketing of all Achieving True Self services.

Maintain a positive attitude and collaborative team philosophy in all aspects of the role. Maintain unbiased collaboration with all agencies providing support to individuals with Developmental Disabilities, including the Office of Developmental Programs, Administrative Entities / County offices, and Supports Coordination Organizations.
