Civil Drafter

*Civil - Land development work experience, please read below. Stormwater, drainage etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design: Create precise and detailed engineering drawings, plans, and schematics using software. These drawings may include site layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and details of stormwater and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to review and understand design specifications, site conditions, and project requirements.
• Ensure that drawings and plans adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards, related to stormwater management and drainage.
• Collect and incorporate relevant survey data and site information into drawings and plans.
• Verify the accuracy of drawings and plans to eliminate errors or discrepancies.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure that design intent is accurately represented in the drawings.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum of associate degree, or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly related to stormwater management and drainage systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
