Stonemill Consulting is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Indianapolis, IN

Stonemill Consulting, LLC is a technology consulting firm that specializes in helping clients maximize the return on their technology investments. We are seeking qualified business analyst candidates to assist clients in business process improvment and COTS vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a background in documenting internal business processes, re-designing business processes, working with COTS vendors, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.

The Business Analyst documents business processes, develops new business requirements, monitors vendor feature development activities, and works with users to test new software.

Responsibilities:

  • Document current future state business processes.
  • Elicit and document business requirements for COTS vendors.
  • Create use cases and user stories to document needed features.
  • Monitor vendor activity to ensure requirements are being implemented properly.
  • Work with internal testing team to ensure adequate testing of new features.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing of released features.
Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university. Technical degree preferred.
  • 5 years experience developing business requirements in a complex multi-venor environment.
  • 3 years experience documenting internal business processes.
  • Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies.
  • Experience with test tools is a plus.
