Overview
- Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Mainframe Developer to support a Payroll application for our US Government client.
- This is going to be a 100% remote position.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be part of the Programming/Design Team with responsibility of designing and/or coding software requirement changes.
- Perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program.
Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in software development and/or related field.
- Strong experience with COBOL in a mainframe environment.
- Experience working with IDMS.
- Familiarity with AGILE methodology is a plus.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.
- Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
