ICS’s three campuses feature small community schools. This intimate learning environment enhances our ability to provide differentiated instruction and innovative programming in delivering outstanding educational services, while making a positive lifelong impact on our students’ intellectual, emotional, and civic development.
At the heart of our schools is a strong community/neighborhood focus. ICS employees have an evident love of children and for the mission of K-12 urban education. Building strong relationships between students and staff is at the heart of our work and is a key factor in our success.
ICS has consistently been one of the highest performing charter schools in the state of Indiana and traditionally outperforms area school districts; further, ICS is ranked in the top tier of academic performance among the charter schools in the portfolio of the Indianapolis Mayor’s Office of Education Innovation (OEI)
