Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise in medical/surgical nursing.

Requirements:

• Active IN or Compact license (or fingerprint application submitted)
• BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Telemetry and IV start

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cardiovascular surgical patients, peripheral vascular surgical patients, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation, and overflow

Additional Information:

• Travelers may be required to float between different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with provided resources at University and Methodist Hospitals
• Staffing ratios: 1:5-6
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, managing IV lines, and monitoring patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment plans.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of nursing care.

Pay: $2,340.00 - $3,016.00 per week
