Woodside Senior Living, a 200-unit Assisted Living and Memory Care facility is actively seeking a Medicaid Liaison to join our team. As a Medicaid Liaison you will be responsible for the oversight of the pending Medicaid application process.

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

· Monthly processing of MITS to check for eligibility and changes in payer sources.

· Evaluation of income and asset for potential admissions and residents already admitted.

· Processing of pending Medicaid applications, re-certifications, documentation and tracking the status of open/pending Medicaid applications.

· Working closely with residents and/or families to obtain the necessary documentation in order to assess eligibility

· Working with county caseworkers to make sure cases are processed in a timely manner

· Follow Admission through Discharge for Medicaid Waiver Authorizations and assist with insurance authorizations as well.

· Oversee transition from LTC to the Assisted Living waiver program

· Collection follow up of private income from monies owed to the facility

· Data entry supporting the Medicaid process to ensure accurate and timely billing

· Assist with gathering of documentation for Medicaid Applications and maintain a tracking tool to ensure all necessary information is secured for timely payment.

Education / Experience:

· Medicaid eligibility processing experience preferred

· 2-5 years of Medicaid Waiver experience required

· Three (3) years of billing in an Assisted Living setting preferred

· Excellent customer service and organizational skills

· Extensive knowledge of Medicaid managed care programs

· Excel and Microsoft office experience required

· Knowledge of Pont Click Care is a requirement

· High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred

· Ability to handle a fast paced work environment

Schedule:

This position is Monday – Friday 8a – 4:30p
