About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include managing ECO processes, ensuring ERP data accuracy, and providing valuable cost estimates and quotes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficient and profitable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide innovative engineering support to align manufacturing processes with company goals.
  • Manage the ECO process, ensuring clear communication of operational implications.
  • Maintain ERP integrity by managing files, drawings, and data inputs related to ECO changes.
  • Oversee cost estimating and quoting processes for ERP Bill of Materials (BOM) and Method of Manufacturing (MOM) setups.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Management team to minimize profitability risks.
  • Assist the purchasing team with bulk steel pricing and long-term vendor solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • Develop, execute, and document project tasks, adhering to timelines and governance policies.
  • Create or modify work instructions, technical documents, and non-conformance reports.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and maintain documentation for ECO and cost estimating processes.
  • Resolve issues and delays with advanced problem-solving skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for the manufacturing and engineering industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
