Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide full-time aerospace engineering support to the SRD Division.
- Provide worldwide technical and engineering support for US Army H-60 rotorcraft.
- Specialize in drivetrain vibration monitoring, rotor smoothing, and shaft balances.
- Provide engineering support for HUMS systems.
- Evaluate and guide coefficients and algorithms.
- Review IVHMS field testing and engineering evaluation in support of the.
- Write test plans, collect test data, and evaluate test results.
- Lead meetings and provide engineering expertise.
- Bachelor’s and 16 years’ experience preferred.
- Acceptable alternative is PHD and 13 years’/ Master’s and 15 years.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Familiarity with HUMS operations.
- Familiarity with US Army documents and manuals.
- Familiarity with US Army Helicopters with strong experience on the H-60 platform.
