Description

SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Quality Assurance (QA) Software Tester to support an Army National Guard contract on the Strengths Maintenance Management System (SMMS) program to develop and test software solutions, implement automated and various other software testing methods, and program in C#, .Net Framework and ASP.Net MVC.

NOTE: This is a Fully Remote position, but would prefer someone located within a 1 hour drive distance of Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, etc) to go into the Fairfax, VA office from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Test and monitor contract operations and adherence to defined quality assurance processes using the CMMI Model Framework
• Support the execution of the project plan in conjunction with the Program Manager (PM)
• Conduct and improve verification activities including manual and automated testing; release management; audits and reviews; and validation activities
• Coordinate efforts across functional, technical, and data teams
• Partner with Agile Release Team to plan for new functionality, resolve defects, and incorporate error injection test methodologies.
• Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization.
• Evaluate technical requirements and identify automated test needs, scenarios, and test metrics.
• Engineer, execute, troubleshoot, monitor and report results of automated test scenarios.
• Develop and execute testing tasks and plans that meet timelines and release requirements.
• Develop and execute test scripts and test cases; test plans, test reports, root-cause analysis, and security certification compliance testing.
• Functional testing, Smoke testing, Regression testing, high availability testing, end user testing.
• Ensure configuration and release management of testing data, documentation, and environments.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUACATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Section 508 standards (Usability and Compliance)
• Bachelors and five (5) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Programming experience in .Net Framework / ASP.Net MVC
• Experience with test C# and Net Framework Applications

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must have a current Active Secret Clearance
• Must be a current US Citizen

Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
