Summary:
As a Call Center Specialist, you will be the first line of support for direct support staff. You will answer questions about policy/procedures for residential sites and triage calls for On-Call staff. Call Center Specialists provide additional support by performing various clerical tasks that include scanning and uploading items into Provide and turning in end-of-the-month paperwork and ensuring that paperwork is scanned to proper locations. You will also be a powerful and confident communicator and welcome independent work and team collaboration. A Call Center Specialist makes it possible for direct support staff to focus on the individuals in our residential services.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 3 years of Direct Support Professional experience.
• Possesses valid IN State driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to speak, hear and read the English language.
• Able to understand and apply hours where needed for effective labor management.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations
• Strong ability to multitask
• Must have the ability to effectively express oneself in written reports, including electronic documentation reporting.
• Ability to project a professional image while contacting community resources.
• Basic technology skills (e.g., Email, data entry for recording work time, etc.).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to attend in-person trainings.
• Essential physical skills: be able to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull against potential resistance, and implement non-physical and approved physical interventions and CPR with people supported when needed.
