We are a reputable and rapidly growing chain of preschools dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education and care. We currently have a signed lease in a strong market in Western Wisconsin and we are seeking an experienced childcare leader to operate the location and share in the profits.
Position Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our school and lead all facets of the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for obtaining a license for this school, hiring a new team, enrolling new families, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining high-quality childcare standards and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). A commitment to curriculum excellence and teacher training is essential to our mission of providing a top-tier early childhood education experience. Your leadership in this area will directly impact the quality of education our school can deliver and contribute to the holistic development of each child in our care. You will directly impact the growth and success of our school and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional early childhood education. Given the criticality of this role, you would receive 100% of the operating profits for at least the first year and a profits interest thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
Similar to owning your own school, you are the operator, but we are funding you and the school.
Ownership mentality.
Grow enrollment to 100 FTE’s in the first 90 days of opening.
Ability to operate the school 100% on your own – process payroll, HR, marketing, produce a P&L, work with and find needed vendors.
Provide visionary leadership to a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Strong community engagement
Mentor and guide team members to optimize their performance and professional growth, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development.
Operational Excellence:
Own the day-to-day operations of the school.
Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment, teacher-child ratios, parent satisfaction, and financial performance.
Collaborate with your team to develop strategies that enhance operational efficiency, maintain a safe and inviting environment, and promote positive learning experiences.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to local and national regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards in the school.
Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and protocols to guarantee compliance with health, safety, and educational standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure consistent quality of care and educational programming.
Teacher Training and Professional Development:
Oversee comprehensive teacher training programs, focusing on best practices in early childhood education and child development.
Facilitate workshops and professional development sessions to enhance teachers skills, classroom management techniques, and curriculum implementation.
Parent Engagement:
Work closely with teachers to establish effective communication channels with parents, keeping them informed about curriculum goals, activities, and their child's progress.
Organize parent informational sessions to support parents in understanding and reinforcing curriculum concepts at home.
Cultivate strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns, sharing updates, and maintaining open lines of communication.
Quality Control and Assessment:
Implement a systematic approach to assess curriculum delivery and teaching methods, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct regular classroom observations, provide constructive feedback, and support teachers in refining their instructional techniques.
Implement the current curriculum.
Monitor curriculum alignment with educational standards and adapt as necessary to meet the evolving needs of young learners.
Qualifications:
Prior Owner experience or District Manager experience or Regional Manager experience or Vice President experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience in managing schools.
Demonstrated ability to measure and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve operational excellence.
In-depth knowledge of childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Annual Salary: $95,000-105,000
Ownership Profit Participation:100% of the operating profits for at least the first year and a profits interest thereafter.
