South Coast Construction Services, Inc. is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to join the Preconstruction team.
A qualified candidate will have the motivation and passion for providing high quality construction estimates and proposal packages.
Detail orientation and an ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors is a critical quality for the individual in this position.
Responsibilities :
The primary function is the preparation of project estimates including conceptual budgets, schematic, design development and construction document estimates.
Create estimates for projects ranging between $500-$1,000,000 .
Attend pre-bid / site visit meetings.
Participate in value engineering meetings and offer support during preconstruction stage of projects
Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable order costs.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in construction management. Preferably in the medical field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership qualities.
Strong communication & negotiation skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
