The Patient Access Specialist Level I is primarily responsible for completing an efficient and organized ED registration, reception of ED patients, admission and insurance verification of all inpatients and outpatients.
Determines patient financial responsibility, makes appropriate financial arrangements and collects amount due with patients per hospital policy.
This position works varied days. Varied weekends included
Required Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Technical Skills :
Computer Keyboarding
Required Experience :
At least 6 months of previous customer service experience.
