TRAINING COORDINATOR (12-18 month temporary project)
The Company:
Our client is a maritime organization that has been proudly servicing the Houston area for over 20 years. They are seeking a TRAINING COORDINATOR to join their team in EAST HOUSTON (77029).
This TRAINING COORDINATOR opportunity is a 12-18 month temporary project role with weekly pay via Meador Staffing Services.
Compensation for this role is $25-$35/hr, depending on experience.
Work hours are Monday-Thursday with a total of 32 hours per week.
*PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in a TRAINING ENVIRONMENT is REQUIRED*
The Expectations for the TRAINING COORDINATOR:
- Serve on company-wide employee development team.
- Assist with creating both face-to-face and virtual trainings.
- Training topics include but are not limited to - soft skills, technical skills, and site safety.
- Manage large sets of data to verify accuracy and create charts, tables, graphics, and more.
- Facilitate training sessions via preparing room layout, handling check-in, and distributing materials.
- Create and deploy post-training surveys to gather feedback for presenters.
- Document training completion to ensure training compliance.
- Utilize Microsoft Powerpoint to create training presentations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to review training data and reports.
- Utilize LMS to track, document, and upload data as needed.
The Experience and Education:
- MS Excel, Advanced Knowledge, REQUIRED!
- MS PowerPoint, Intermediate Knowledge, REQUIRED!
- Learning Management System (LMS), HIGHLY PREFERRED!
