Position Summary

U.S. LawShield is seeking a Corporate Trainer to be responsible for the effective delivery of the sales (field) and service team training curriculum. In addition, this position may provide individual coaching to both sales and support team personnel and training support to sales management and field sales teams. The Corporate Trainer will partner closely with IT, Project Managers, and our vendor (Adobe) to successfully complete an LMS implementation and ongoing maintenance of the platform. The successful candidate is a crucial contributor to a results-driven and professional sales organization, with direct influence on the professional development of both the Sales and Customer Service teams.



  • Aligns training activities with the company goals and objectives to ensure revenue, growth, and sales efficiency targets
  • Supports the development and execution of relevant, effective training objectives, content, resources, and processes to advance product and technical knowledge and meet brand and performance needs
  • Delivers timely updates to learning curriculum and training materials by identifying ongoing training needs and objectives
  • Manages the LMS and onboarding process, including content, curriculum, calendars, and resources to provide appropriate training and onboarding of new hires
  • Provides direct support and motivation by developing and implementing individual coaching plans, including telephone calls, attending sales calls, and traveling to field sales offices to conduct training onsite
  • Conducts training needs analysis by attending sales calls, observing sales encounters and applying best practices, analyzing sales results, and consulting with sales management
  • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training programs and knowledge transfer
  • Makes recommendations for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness by refining training programs, content, and methods and developing and implementing new approaches and techniques
  • Manages multiple projects involving cross-functional stakeholders and business objectives
  • Manages continuing education and training for the Sales and Customer Service teams



  • 5 years of demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and executing effective strategic training plans, including multi-phase learning and a comprehensive curriculum, in a corporate environment
  • Ability to effectively develop and deliver impactful training presentations and workshops to engage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and diverse audiences with measurable results
  • Adept at facilitating in-person and virtual training
  • Clear track record of managing multiple projects involving cross-functional stakeholders and business objectives
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with the varied department, management, and audience levels (including presentation skills)
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred), MS Office Suite, Adobe, and Google Suite applications such as sheets, docs, forms
  • Ability to function independently, manage assigned tasks and maintain accuracy and consistency
  • Experience with LMS applications (Adobe LMS/Captivate Prime, preferred)
  • Video Editing Experience (nice to have)
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and organizational skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop training programs from scratch



  • Annual compensation of $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience
  • 15 days of PTO per calendar year
  • Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and additional supplemental coverages
  • The ability to work in a hybrid capacity is required; this role is located in the greater Houston, Texas area
