The Corporate Trainer is responsible for the development and facilitation of employee development training content for new and existing employees. This position is a hybrid role and will deliver training both virtually and in person if Houston based. If not based in Houston this will be a fully remote role with quarterly travel to our headquarters in Houston.
Apply if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6 Years of training experience required.
  • 2 Years of Contact Center or Call Center training experience (preferred).
  • 2 Years of Sales training experience (preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in designing and developing training materials and learning content (including but not limited to facilitator guides, e-learning, documentation, and design assets).
  • Program management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using online course authoring technologies such as Adobe Connect, MS Teams, or Zoom to create e-learning experiences.
  • Knowledge of learning science and instructional design principles for adult learners.
  • Solid project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with diverse groups and at all levels in the organization while balancing listening and talking.
  • Must be a self-starter able to take ownership of work, do what is needed without being asked, and solve problems independently.
  • Must plan and manage time well, meet deadlines, be cost-conscious, and think of innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines while staying on task and on time.
Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Develop instructional content and activities, using adult-centered design thinking and instructional design theories to meet the needs of learners.
  • Facilitate instructor-led content virtually or in person as needed.
  • Use e-learning authoring tools to design experiences that include interactive activities, animations, graphics and images, text-based content, and assessments.
  • Design training materials and content for learners (including but not limited to facilitator guides, presentation decks, participant workbooks, and job aids)
  • Collaborate with program managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify learning goals and outcomes for learning experiences.
  • Design and develop learning experiences that align with learning outcomes, using the appropriate delivery method.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple training programs/project workstreams effectively.
  • Stay up to date with learning and development industry trends and research to ensure programs are modern and relevant.
  • Assess the effectiveness of learning experiences and recommend adjustments or improvements to program managers and stakeholders.
