At The Houstonian Club, the Group Exercise Instructor provides safe, fun and effective leadership in a variety of various exercise formats.
Class content is creative and original and is balanced to ensure that members find the class challenging but are still able to participate safely.
Instructors develop a “signature style,” and meticulously prepare in advance to ensure that choreography, exercise sequence, music selection, and class flow provide members with the optimum workout and a sense of positivity, strength, wellness and accomplishment.
Instructors develop relationships with members who loyally attend their classes. They are available to teach at various times of the day and days of the week, including some weekends and holidays. They also help other team members by substituting for other instructors as needed.
To be considered for a position on the Group Exercise Team, you'll need current certification through a reputable organization in the industry (AFAA, ACE, NSCA, NASM, Pilates Certification, Yoga Certification) as well as current CPR/AED Certification and 3-5 years instructing in Group Exercise.
Applicants may be invited to a seasonal audition, which, if successfully completed, could lead to company interviews.
