The Village Dallas is Hiring a Group Fitness Instructor Near Dallas, TX
We are thrilled to be expanding our team and are now seeking to add a Group Fitness Instructor to our “village”. Reporting to the Manager of the Village FIT, Group Fitness Instructors serve members of The Village Dallas with quality exercise classes that enhance fitness and wellness.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Teach class formats listed on the group exercise schedule at times listed, with expectation of physical arrival inside The Village Fit facility 15-minutes prior to class start time
- Educate and entertain members with classes that are fun, appropriately challenging based on class description, diverse with options to make harder or easier, positive, and inclusive
- Advocate other programs, classes, instructors, special events, and sports leagues at The Village Fit
- Support the team by learning names of Fit Gurus and expressing gratitude for all they do to help our group fitness program and The Village Fit
- Maintain current certifications and submit record of renewed certs prior to expiration to the Group Fitness Manager
- Log accurate payroll hours with digital timestamp of when you physically arrive to The Village Fit (“in”) and when you finish teaching and putting away equipment (“out”).
- Review and submit all time worked prior to payroll deadline
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current Nationally Recognized, Accredited Group Fitness Instructor Certification OR Current Nationally Recognized, Accredited Personal Training Certification
- Certification through Nationally Recognized, Accredited Organization
- Familiarity with the culture of The Village Dallas
- 3 years teaching experience
- 1 years experience teaching at a boutique studio
