The Salvation Army ATS is Hiring a Residential Counselor Near Honolulu, HI
The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking to fill a full-time Residential Counselor position. Under the direct supervision of the Residential Clinical Supervisor, the Residential Counselor will provide residential clients with individual counseling for personal development, and conduct addiction group counseling, skills building sessions and alcohol/drug education classes. The Residential Counselor shall implement residential program activities and provide supervision of residents
Must have advanced clinical degree in human services, such as an MSW, MA in Clinical Psychology or Masters in Counseling and/or CSAC. Must have two years experience providing individual and group addiction treatment services. Possess demonstrated ability to produce effective treatment plans and updates and perform appropriate discharge planning including producing viable discharge summaries. Effective verbal and written communication skills, maturity, insight and sound judgment are required.
