We are seeking a customer service representative with 2 years of insurance agency experience to provide support for internal sales staff and provide service primarily to existing agency personal lines customers. This is not a sales position, but a successful candidate will be sales focused. A current Pennsylvania Property/Casualty Insurance license is required in order to be considered for this position .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teamwork – Work effectively and efficiently with sales force to assist with application processing, scheduling, and client concern resolution.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers and company personnel.
• Actively support company policy and best practices in the area of security with special emphasis on the protection of sensitive client information.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client personal information, only accessing, using, or disclosing client information within the necessity of performing required job duties.
• Use all proprietary database, web, and telephone tools effectively, reporting faults to supervisors as soon as they occur.
• Keep up to date on industry developments and changes, taking ownership to obtain and learn all information via print and the internet.
• Maintain full awareness of product and service availability within our companies so that every opportunity to meet client needs is taken.
• Provide additional support to the supervisor including administrative/clerical tasks, special projects, coaching new hires, report analysis, and other duties as assigned.
• Special Requirements:
• Position requires a Pennsylvania Property/Casualty Insurance License.

• 2 years insurance agency or reated office experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
