Yard Worker / Delivery Driver

- Pull building supply orders for our customers
- Drive a flatbed truck to deliver orders to our customers. No overnight travel .
- Operate standup forklift to load / unload trucks and pull orders
- Use a CNC Router to punch vinyl material for the assembly of posts and rails
- Put incoming orders into stock

Homestead Outdoor Products, a fencing, railing, siding, and decking materials supplier, is looking for a full-time Yard Worker / Delivery Driver with a CDL (or willingness to obtain) to receive and ship orders for poly & wood lumber, fencing, decking, railing, etc.
and make deliveries. Our Yard Worker / Delivery Driver is critical in building solid relationships with our repeat customers by ensuring we accurately pull and deliver all the materials our contractors need for their projects.
We are a lighthearted team and enjoy our work.
Our Ideal Yard Worker / Delivery Driver :
Experienced : Working in a lumber yard, building supply yard, construction, or similar role is preferred but not necessary.
A valid Class A or B CDL is preferred, but we are willing to assist the right person in obtaining their CDL. Previous forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.
- Clean Record : Should have a relatively clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- Personable : Will provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all customers.
- Clear Communicator : We value clear communication on our team. You will collaborate with multiple parties to ensure quality service.
- Conscientious : Safely operates equipment and maintains a clean and organized supply yard.
- Sense of Humor : We work hard, but we also have fun and like to laugh.
- Team Player : Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do a great job. Eager to help a teammate for the good of all. Treats teammates and customers with care & respect.
- Detailed : Able to accurately pull and process orders.
- Active : Able to lift up to 90 lbs., operate a forklift, bend, kneel, climb, and work in a role that will have you on the go most of the day!
What We Offer Our Yard Worker / Delivery Driver :
- $20 - $23 / h Depending on Experience
- Full-time schedule, 6 : 30-5 : 00 M-F with overtime available. HOME EVERY NIGHT.
