Join our client's team as a full-time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Jersey City/ Newark/ Hoboken/ West Orange, NJ. This role involves providing comprehensive end-of-life care to patients and families facing terminal illness. Responsibilities include utilizing nursing expertise to implement prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care and ensuring patient safety.

QualificationsRequired:
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Over one year of experience in any of the following areas:
    • Home Health
    • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
    • Community Health
    • Hospice
    • Oncology
    • Critical Care
    • Cardiology
    • Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
    • Pulmonology
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
    • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    Preferred
    • Bilingual in Spanish
    • RN License Number
    • Specialized certifications
    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care
    • Independently deliver end-of-life care to patients and families
    • Utilize nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation
    • Administer medication, record vital signs, and reinforce patient education
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare team and report changes in patient status
    • Maintain a safe environment for patients and self
    • Identify and address learning needs
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Utilize EMR: Home Care Home Base and provided equipment: Tablet, Phone
    Schedule And Shift Details
    • 8:30am-4:30pm, 1-2 Saturdays a month
    • Includes working one summer and one winter holiday
