Job Description – Service Technician

Reports To: Service Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while fixing and maintaining HVAC systems at multiple locations
• Prepare daily service tickets

Qualifications, Competencies, & Abilities:

• Travel to multiple locations daily
• Clean driving record as this position requires the use of a company provided service truck
• Journeyman level of training from the union
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and Pipping
• Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Self-Motivated, with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Strong level of attention to detail.
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate information and ideas both verbally and written so others will understand.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Work and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including executives.

• Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment.

Education and Experience:

• 3 plus years working independently fixing and maintaining HVAC systems
