Note: Assignment is the morning shift starting at 10am in the Mint Hill Area.

Specialized Health Care Services LLC is looking for a self-motivated, reliable and experienced Direct Support Professional to provide support to our individual's. Assist with personal care task, participating in community activities and providing supervision in the home or community. Provide documentation describing concerns and actions needed for addressing behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check through our background checks portal.
• Must have experience in handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in the home and community settings.
• Support individuals with disabilities in daily living activities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
