Position Title: Release Train Engineer
Location: Remote (100%)
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is responsible for ensuring that CMS Release and Deployment standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at various locations.
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
- Maintain a release repository to manage key documentation, including build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
- Coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion, such as build deployments.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
- Ability to manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at various locations.
- Ability to conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
- Experience maintaining a release repository for managing key documentation, including build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems operations.
- Possess a management certificate (e.g., PMP).
- In lieu of a professional certification mentioned above, a minimum of seven (7) years' experience is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in release management activities for CMS.
