- Actively participate in all aspects of the release planning cycle activities
- Design, code, and implement components of the overall system
- Work with the product owner(s) and other team members to gather and refine requirements
- Work with other scrum teams to ensure 100% integration
- Bachelor of Science or greater degree in CS, CE, Engineering, EE, Physics, or Math
- Expert software development skills (in order of importance: Java, JavaScript, Python, C )
- 5 years of experience delivering and maintaining commercial software in a production environment; familiarity with agile methodologies, software development and release life cycles, source control and change management. More senior candidates highly encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, across the team, skill sets, and company to drive features to completion
- AWS and DevOps skills/experience are a plus
- Familiarity with geospatial data processing tools and services such as GDAL, MapBox, GeoServer, and TileServerGL
- Familiarity with open source
