Town of Herndon is Hiring a Group Fitness Instructor Near Herndon, VA
The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town has an immediate need for a Personal Trainer in the Parks & Recreation department.
In this position, you will provide the following service to our community:
- Leading high-quality, high -energy group fitness classes.
- Setting up prior to class start time and ensuring proper clean up after class completion.
- Being prepared for class and leading class in a professional and safe manner.
What you will need:
- Current AED/CPR certification preferred.
- Instructor certification preferred.
- One (1) year experience leading group fitness classes is preferred.

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
